Welcome to the Greater Charlotte Hospitality and Tourism Alliance (HTA)

"Helping Members Grow Their Business, is HTA's Business"

The Greater Charlotte Hospitality & Tourism Alliance (HTA) has been the premier voice of our region's hospitality & tourism industry since it was established by the leaders of the industry in 1994. Over the years the HTA's leadership has proudly and relentlessly been vital in efforts that have made our region a premier destination. We are proud to have been a major part of developing the Charlotte Convention Center, Spectrum Arena, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, $200 million Arts & Cultural Complex, Carolinas Aviation Museum, the Charlotte Knights Baseball Stadium, development of the newly completed $42M Matthews Regional Sportsplex, renovation of Mecklenburg County's Aquatic Center, our efforts with upgrading the Carolina Panthers' (Bank of America) stadium, planned $35 million renovation of Memorial Stadium and many other initiatives which have made the Charlotte region a great travel, event and convention destination.

Our work continues as we proudly played a major role in the repeal of HB2, reclaiming of the ACC Football Championship Game (2017-2030), NCAA Events, 2019 NBA All Star Event, International Soccer Games, and the passage of the Brunch Bill. We are proactively involved in the enhancement of our remarkable International Airport, elevating Charlotte’s status as the sport’s capital of the southeast, massive planned renovations of the Charlotte Convention Center, the anticipated mega renovation of the Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers), and the recruitment of the 2020 Republican National Convention to Charlotte. Following the phenomenal 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, we are ready to begin the journey of bringing the 2024 PGA Championship to Charlotte and ask you to join us in this journey as well as helping us make the 2018 World Equestrian Games (tryon2018.com) a mega business generating event for Charlotte’s Region.
